Marcus Rashford Joins Aston Villa on Loan After Leaving Manchester United
England striker Marcus Rashford has completed his loan move to Aston Villa, marking his exit from Manchester United.
The 27-year-old underwent his medical on Sunday evening after agreeing to a transfer to Villa Park, following a fallout with United manager Ruben Amorim.
Confirming the news, the club wrote: ‘Aston Villa is delighted to announce the loan signing of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
‘The England international, capped 60 times by the Three Lions, joins Villa on a deal until the end of the season. Welcome, Marcus!’

Rashford took to Instagram to relay the news to his followers, writing: ‘I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen.
‘I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision – I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season, and the managers’ ambitions. I just want to play football and am excited to get started.

‘I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season’.
Meanwhile, on their club website, United wrote: ‘Everyone at Manchester United wishes Marcus good luck for the rest of the season.’
The deal is initially a loan until the end of the season, but it includes an option for Aston Villa to sign Marcus Rashford permanently for a pre-agreed fee of £40 million.
It is understood that Villa will cover 70% of his wages, and the loan package also includes bonuses for advancing in Europe and for qualifying for the Champions League next season.
