The Player Category, which honors ATP and WTA athletes with outstanding international records, includes several distinguished names. Federer, often credited with revolutionizing the sport alongside rivals Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, is regarded as one of the greatest players in history.

He is among only eight men to have won each of the sport’s four majors, completing the career Grand Slam at Roland Garros in 2009. His record haul includes eight Wimbledon titles, six Australian Opens, five US Opens, and one French Open.

Joining Federer and Del Potro on the ballot is Russia’s Svetlana Kuznetsova, a four-time major champion who lifted the US Open singles trophy in 2004 and the French Open crown in 2009, in addition to two doubles triumphs.

In the Contributor Category, nominees include longtime television commentator Mary Carillo and tennis administrator Marshall Happer.

The final list of inductees for the Class of 2026 will be announced in November.
