Timi Frank, a past Deputy National Publicity Secretary for the All Progressives Congress, has issued a warning to President Bola Tinubu. He stated that failing to listen to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria might result in a humiliating electoral loss for the President in 2027.
Speaking from Abuja this past Sunday, Frank praised the bishops for their willingness to speak plainly to the President regarding the nation’s severe economic crisis and potential threats to democratic stability. He highlighted their bravery in addressing these issues directly.
Frank emphasized that the Catholic leaders displayed a level of courage rarely seen from religious figures in the country today. He urged the President to implement the recommendations provided by the bishops to preserve his political future. Finally, he called on other religious organizations to emulate the transparency shown by the Catholic hierarchy.
