The Lagos State Government has made the 2026 merit-based admission list public for students who participated in the screening process for its Model Colleges and upgraded secondary institutions. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, confirmed the release in a recent statement.
Students can verify their status via the official Lagos State Examinations Board website starting Tuesday, July 22, 2026. Once confirmed, those who gained admission are required to visit their assigned schools beginning Monday, August 31, 2026, to receive official letters and finalize their enrollment.
In congratulating the successful applicants, the ministry emphasized its dedication to maintaining a clear and equitable selection process. The administration reaffirmed its ongoing focus on expanding opportunities for quality education throughout the state’s specialized secondary institutions.
