The Nigerian women’s national team, the Super Falcons, have received a boost in Casablanca as Esther Okoronkwo, Michelle Alozie, and Uchenna Kanu have officially checked into camp. This brings the current roster size to 22 players as the squad continues its rigorous training regime.
Technical staff are also anticipating the arrival of Gift Monday, Deborah Abiodun, and Folashade Ijamilusi, who are slated to join their teammates at the Hotel Marriott later today. The squad officially commenced their final phase of tournament preparations last Monday.
Led by Justine Madugu, the team is scheduled to relocate to Rabat this weekend, which will serve as the venue for their upcoming group-stage matches. The Super Falcons are set to launch their title defense on July 28 against Malawi’s Scorchers at the Al Madina Stadium.
