Reports from Tombo, Mbagber, and Ukemberegya/Tswarev Council Wards indicate that villagers are worried about livestock damaging their crops and threats being directed toward farmers. An anonymous community leader noted that anxiety is rising as the security situation remains volatile.
The source further stated that armed groups have been seen crossing the River Benue near the Anyibe settlement. There is significant concern that Ayilamo, Anyiin, and Iorza could be targets. Residents are calling for immediate government and security intervention to prevent potential violence, particularly as the yam harvest season approaches.
