Two Alleged Organ Traffickers Apprehended by Soldiers in Benue

Military forces under Operation Whirl Stroke have detained two suspects linked to human organ trafficking in Benue State’s Katsina-Ala area.

Soldiers serving with Sector 1 of Operation Whirl Stroke successfully captured two individuals accused of human organ trafficking within the Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. Information regarding the arrests was shared by security analyst Zagazola Makama via a social media update on Tuesday.

Citing dependable security insiders, Makama reported that the pair was seized on July 13 in the Atongo district. This action was the result of a targeted operation directed by military personnel stationed in that sector. The individuals are currently suspected of participating in the illegal trade of human organs.

Authorities have transferred the suspects into the custody of the Nigeria Police Force to conduct thorough inquiries and prepare for potential legal proceedings. These arrests represent a broader effort by Operation Whirl Stroke to identify and neutralize criminal syndicates while reducing violent activity throughout the North Central region.
