A combined team consisting of 12 Brigade soldiers and Department of State Services (DSS) agents apprehended four individuals in the Kabba-Bunu area of Kogi State on suspicion of aiding terrorist organizations. Security expert Zagazola Makama announced the news via social media on Tuesday.
The detainees were captured during a mission involving military personnel from the Kabba Patrol Base and the DSS. The raid occurred at the Light Hotel situated on Odumo-Kabba Road around 12:11 p.m. on Monday. Authorities acted based on reliable information connecting the group to terrorist activities.
The arrest was completed peacefully. The suspects have been turned over to the DSS to undergo detailed questioning and potential legal action. This effort is part of a broader security strategy intended to break up support cells and strengthen safety throughout Kogi State and its surrounding regions.
