Governor Uba Sani Attributes Enhanced Service Delivery to Kaduna State Reforms

Governor Uba Sani asserts that strategic fiscal reforms and investments in infrastructure have bolstered service delivery and educational access in Kaduna State.

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to fiscal discipline and the enhancement of public services. During a meeting with the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, the Governor emphasized that every public fund must yield visible benefits for state residents.

Led by Chairman Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, the commission visited Kaduna to evaluate the national revenue allocation formula. Governor Sani highlighted that his administration has achieved notable progress in financial stability, healthcare, and education by prioritizing transparency and modern technology. He noted that the implementation of systems such as Project C.R.A.F.T. and the PAYKADUNA platform has modernized tax collection, curtailed revenue losses, and bolstered public trust.

Healthcare improvements include the conversion of one primary health center in every local government area into a center of excellence, alongside the purchase of advanced medical equipment and the recruitment of additional personnel. Furthermore, educational accessibility has improved, with the state achieving near-gender parity in school enrollment. Through programs like AGILE and ROOSC, the number of out-of-school children has decreased significantly from an estimated 535,000 in 2023 to 187,720.

The Governor credited these gains to a consistent 26.5 percent budget allocation for education, the use of intervention funds, and the consolidation of schools in insecure areas. Sani expressed gratitude for the ongoing collaboration with the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in refining the state’s institutional frameworks.
