Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, a former deputy governor of Lagos State, has called upon All Progressives Congress (APC) members and state residents to throw their weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign. During an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos on Thursday, she also voiced her strong support for the gubernatorial ambitions of Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
Orelope-Adefulire stated that the current administration under President Tinubu has established a firm base for national progress. She lauded the President for his bold reforms and visionary leadership aimed at achieving sustainable growth. Regarding Dr. Hamzat, she highlighted his extensive administrative background and competence, arguing that his history of dedicated public service makes him the ideal choice to build upon the achievements of previous APC governments in Lagos.
Highlighting the party’s track record of economic growth and infrastructure development, she encouraged APC stakeholders to maintain unity as a core strength. She urged citizens to prioritize collecting their Permanent Voter Cards to participate in the upcoming election. Orelope-Adefulire expressed optimism that both President Tinubu and Dr. Hamzat would secure electoral victories, ensuring that the legacy of excellence continues at both the national and state levels.
