Mourinho maintains that shedding current midfield talent is essential to accommodate a more creative playmaker within the roster. His primary target is Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, a transfer estimated to cost £120 million. Fernandez is reportedly interested in a move to the Spanish capital to rejuvenate his career.
