Jose Mourinho Advocates for Midfield Shake-up at Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho is pushing for changes in the Real Madrid midfield, suggesting the sale of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni to fund a move for Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez.

According to The Athletic, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has recommended that the club entertain transfer bids for Eduardo Camavinga. Despite these reports, those in the 23-year-old’s inner circle view a departure as highly unlikely. Additionally, Mourinho is reportedly open to parting ways with Aurelien Tchouameni, a player who has drawn interest from Manchester United. Tchouameni’s exit is considered plausible this summer, following internal friction with teammate Federico Valverde during the previous campaign. Mourinho maintains that shedding current midfield talent is essential to accommodate a more creative playmaker within the roster. His primary target is Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, a transfer estimated to cost £120 million. Fernandez is reportedly interested in a move to the Spanish capital to rejuvenate his career.
