Tobi Amusan Shatters Meeting Record to Win Women’s 100m Hurdles at Rabat Diamond League

Nigerian sprint hurdler Tobi Amusan claimed victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Rabat Diamond League on Sunday, setting a new meet record of 12.45 seconds.

Her time surpassed the previous record of 12.51 seconds, held by American Brianna McNeal since 2018, marking a remarkable feat for the 2022 World Champion and record holder.

The race, held just before the main broadcast, saw Amusan clearly dominate the competition, finishing well ahead of her rivals. Her 12.45-second run also marks her season’s best (SB).

Close behind Amusan was Nadine Visser from the Netherlands, who finished second with a season’s best of 12.67 seconds. Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska took third place, also posting a season’s best of 12.69 seconds.
