Zak Vyner, the Wrexham defender who previously developed through the Bristol City academy and spent time on loan at clubs such as Accrington Stanley and Plymouth Argyle, is eagerly anticipating his first look at the Welsh team’s popularity in the United States. Following recent friendlies in Poland and Finland, Wrexham has traveled to America for a series of high-profile matches.
The club has gained a massive international following due to the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, bolstered by the success of their documentary series. Vyner, who joined Wrexham from Bristol City in January for an undisclosed fee, noted that while he has seen the passion of the supporters on social media, he is excited to witness the scale of that enthusiasm in person.
