Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has issued a stern message to those he labels as political criminals, promising that they will be held accountable for their behavior. In a video recording reviewed by DAILY POST, Bello addressed his followers and stated that illicit political activities, specifically within the Kogi Central region, will face strict opposition.
While Bello avoided naming specific individuals, he advised those who identify with his description to reflect on their conduct. He emphasized that the excuses often used during campaign seasons to justify verbal attacks against him would no longer be accepted. He declared that a new era has begun, moving past outdated political practices.
Furthermore, the former governor reaffirmed his support for the current leadership. He expressed his belief that Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Tinubu are capable of steering both the state and the nation toward a prosperous future.
