Wike: President Tinubu remains dedicated to the well-being of Abuja residents

Minister Nyesom Wike reaffirmed President Tinubu’s commitment to Abuja’s development during the inauguration of the Collector Road CO1 infrastructure project.

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, stated on Tuesday that President Bola Tinubu is focused on the health and prosperity of the populace. This announcement came during the official launch of the Collector Road CO1 project, which stretches from the Nile University vicinity to Ring Road III, alongside the expansion of the Body of Benchers road.

During the event, Wike highlighted the President’s personal involvement in back-to-back infrastructure ceremonies, noting that such dedication underscores the administration’s priority for Abuja’s development. Wike emphasized that the new road, which serves the Body of Benchers, was a direct response to concerns raised during recent legal ceremonies regarding access and traffic congestion.

The Minister explained that the completed project will significantly reduce gridlock for those traveling to the court institutions and legal facilities in the area. By streamlining traffic flow, the administration aims to improve daily life for those frequenting the district. Wike credited the initiative to the specific requests made by the legal community, confirming that the government is actively addressing logistical challenges within the capital.
