The match was competitive early on, with Toulouse managing to tie the score at 18-18 just before the half-time break through tries from Paul Ulberg, Romeo Tropis, and Cesar Rouge. Wigan showed vulnerability during the first period, echoing struggles seen in earlier home defeats this season.
However, the hosts took control in the second half. Noah Hodkinson and Sam Eseh added power to the attack, while Bevan French continued his impressive form by scoring once and setting up Jai Field. Despite being reduced to 12 men following a sin-binning for Brad O’Neill, Wigan remained in command, eventually sealing the match with a late second try from Marshall.
