This escalation follows 12 nights of U.S. military operations aimed at neutralizing threats to commercial shipping, with recent strikes hitting locations near Ahvaz, Ramshir, and Andimeshk.
The regional conflict has widened as Iran launched attacks against neighboring Gulf states, targeting energy and desalination infrastructure. In response to U.S. pressure, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated the nation would employ a retaliatory strategy, threatening a decisive response to any further strikes on Iranian infrastructure. Meanwhile, Kuwait reported activating air defenses to intercept incoming drones, signaling the growing instability across the Gulf.
