Governor Uba Sani has ended a two-decade wait for road infrastructure in Jaba Local Government Area by inaugurating five township roads in Kwoi. During the project launch last September, the Governor vowed to deliver on his commitments, and he has now finalized the Audu Tilo, Sabon Gari, Doctor Sani, Hospital, and Kpop Ham Palace roads, alongside the vital Kwoi–Gora Road.
Highlighting the historical neglect of the region, the Governor noted that Jaba had seen no new road construction for over twenty years. He emphasized that his administration is committed to correcting such imbalances through a statewide infrastructure program covering 1,355 kilometers across 150 project sites.
The Governor stated that his goal is to ensure equitable development that is not dictated by geography or politics. The newly commissioned roads are expected to boost local commerce, improve access to schools and medical facilities, and assist farmers in moving their goods. Specifically, the Kwoi–Gora Road, previously impassable during the rainy season, now provides a reliable link that promises to foster economic growth and simplify travel for the local population.
