Tolu Arokodare is nearing a temporary transfer to the Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Reports indicate that the Turkish club is in the concluding phase of talks with the Premier League team. To finalize the deal, Wolves have requested that Trabzonspor cover the player’s full annual salary of €3.7 million.
Trabzonspor is actively seeking a replacement forward after Felipe Augusto left for Zenit. The club is also facing instability regarding Paul Onuachu, who has been connected to a potential move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli. Arokodare is scheduled to arrive in Turkey this coming Monday to complete the transaction. The 25-year-old previously moved to Wolves from KRC Genk last year, netting three goals and providing one assist during his 33 league appearances for the team.
