Tottenham Hotspur are prioritizing a move for West Ham United midfielder Mateus Fernandes. This development follows a rejected offer for Sandro Tonali of Newcastle United. Negotiations regarding the 21-year-old Portuguese player are reportedly moving in a positive direction, leaving club officials hopeful that a deal will soon be finalized.
West Ham has placed an 80 million pound price tag on Fernandes, who has also attracted interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. Tottenham previously attempted to sign Tonali for a similar fee, but Newcastle turned down the approach. Tonali remains committed to Newcastle with four years remaining on his current contract.
