Students and Staff Abducted As Terrorists Attack Catholic School in Niger State
Terrorists have attacked St. Mary’s School, a Catholic institution located in the Papiri community of the Agwara Local Government Area in Niger State, kidnapping an unspecified number of students and staff.
A source who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust on Friday noted that the school was still compiling its official records to determine the exact number of those kidnapped.
The source stated, “The church will issue an official statement later in the day.”
This kidnapping occurs just days after a similar high-profile incident where terrorists attacked a government school in neighboring Kebbi State, abducting at least 25 students.
