Nollywood performer Regina Chukwu was turned away at the entrance of the thanksgiving event held for Lateef and Mo Bimpe’s triplets. The gathering took place in Lagos on Wednesday and featured numerous industry figures, family members, and colleagues.
Event planner Omobolale Gold confirmed that attendance was restricted to invited guests only. Security protocols required attendees to present an access card or wear the specific Aso Ebi uniform to gain entry. Despite her status as a recognizable figure in the film industry, security staff prevented Chukwu from entering the premises.
Following the circulation of a video documenting the incident, Chukwu took to Instagram on Thursday. She stated her intention to provide a detailed explanation of the situation to her followers soon. In the same post, she shifted focus to her appearance, praising her styling team for their efforts in preparing her for the occasion.
