Rapper Offset Hospitalized After Florida Shooting

Migos co-founder Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was hospitalized on the evening of Monday, April 6, 2026, after a shooting incident in Florida. The 34-year-old musician was near the valet section of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, located just outside Miami, when the event occurred shortly after 7 p.m.

A representative for the rapper confirmed that while he is currently receiving medical treatment, his condition is stable and he remains under observation. The Seminole Police Department reported that the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Authorities acted quickly to secure the scene, and two individuals have been taken into custody. While the investigation into the motives and circumstances is still active, police have assured the public that the area is safe and business operations at the resort have returned to normal.

Offset, a prominent figure in the Atlanta hip-hop scene and former husband of rapper Cardi B, is a father of six.
