Nigerian recording artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, has publicly challenged musician Terry G to a celebrity boxing bout. Speaking on the Channels Television program Rubbin’ Minds, Portable stated that such a match would serve as a comeback for the veteran performer. He asserted that a ring appearance against him would remind the public of Terry G and restore his industry relevance.
During the same interview, Portable expressed a desire for a rematch with content creator Carter Efe, who defeated him in May 2026. He also discussed upcoming athletic plans, including a match against actor Charles Okocha, followed by a trip to London. Portable credited himself with boosting the profile of celebrity boxing in Nigeria, noting that his platform has been central to the sport’s recent growth.
Addressing rumors regarding his professional connections, the artist clarified that he maintains a positive relationship with rapper Olamide, whom he regards as a mentor. Furthermore, Portable made a striking claim regarding the music industry, suggesting that a Grammy win for any Nigerian musician would require his involvement. Since entering the boxing ring in December 2023, the singer has built a high-profile, if fluctuating, record, securing victories against Okocha and Speed Darlington before his first loss to Efe.
