Authorities in Idemili North Local Government Area discovered the bodies of three children at the Ideani home of a female herbalist. A fourth child was found alive at the scene and transported to a local hospital for urgent medical care, while the deceased were taken to a morgue.
The victims, aged between six and 15, have not been formally identified. Community members are speculating on whether the children were related to the woman or employed by her, as she also maintains a livestock business at the property. The exact cause of their deaths is currently under investigation.
Police have taken the woman into custody at the Ogidi Police Division. While social media footage shows officers removing the suspect from her home, the Anambra State Police Command has not yet released a formal report on the incident.
