The Peoples Democratic Party has officially recognized the Federal Government and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde for their roles in the successful liberation of kidnapped students and educators in Oyo State.
Adolphus Wabara, the PDP Board of Trustees Chairman, expressed gratitude toward the security services for their safe recovery of the individuals. He noted that the security teams demonstrated bravery, skill, and coordination in overcoming the kidnappers.
Wabara specifically praised Governor Makinde for his persistent commitment and administrative leadership, which were crucial in facilitating the tactical mission. Furthermore, the PDP leader encouraged the federal authorities to increase their focus on recovering other citizens currently held captive throughout the nation.
The statement urged both state and federal governments to bolster safety measures within schools and local communities to protect vulnerable populations. Wabara concluded by asking citizens to remain alert and cooperate with security personnel to enhance nationwide safety.
