Heirs Life Assurance, a branch of the Heirs Insurance Group, has named Pastor Jerry Eze as an Independent Non-Executive Director. His tenure officially begins on August 10, 2026. This move aligns with the firm’s goal to improve financial inclusion and boost the use of insurance products across Nigeria, a market where current penetration is notably below one percent.
As the founder of Streams of Joy International Ministry and the digital prayer platform NSPPD, Eze holds significant influence across Africa, Europe, and North America. His background extends into humanitarian work, specifically through the Jerry Eze Foundation, which supports underserved communities with housing and startup grants. Notably, he pledged N1 billion in 2026 to assist young entrepreneurs in the agricultural, technology, and manufacturing sectors.
Eze brings professional expertise from his earlier career in development communications, having worked with the World Bank and the United Nations Population Fund. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations from Abia State University and a postgraduate qualification in Business Administration from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

Pastor Eze noted that he is eager to contribute to the company’s objective of making financial security reachable for every Nigerian.
