Heirs Life Assurance has named Pastor Jerry Eze, the leader of Streams of Joy International Ministry, as an Independent Non-Executive Director. His tenure officially commenced on August 10, 2026.

With the national insurance penetration rate currently stuck below one percent, the company aims to leverage Eze’s reputation for community leadership and public trust to improve market engagement. The board believes his background will be instrumental in making insurance products more accessible to the average citizen.
Eze is widely recognized for leading the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD), a massive digital prayer platform. Beyond his ministry work, he is known for philanthropy through his foundation, which recently pledged N1 billion to support young entrepreneurs in tech, agriculture, and manufacturing. His professional history also includes prior roles as a communications specialist for the World Bank and the UNFPA.
