The Nigerian Army has officially activated its recruitment website for individuals interested in joining as officers via the Short Service Combatant Commission (SSCC) Course 50/2027. Both civilians and current military staff who satisfy the necessary criteria are invited to apply.
Those who pass the selection process and finish their training will be deployed into Combat Arms like the Infantry and Armour Corps. Others will serve in Combat Support Arms, including the Artillery, Engineers, Signals, and Intelligence Corps. Interested parties must submit their applications through the official army portal before the cutoff date of October 17, 2026.
Military leadership has cautioned the public against scams, warning applicants to ignore any unofficial recruitment sites or claims that predate the formal announcement. Individuals should only trust information published through verified Nigerian Army platforms and official media broadcasts.
