Intelligence reports led officials to flag container number TEMU 184536/9, which arrived on the MV VELIKA on July 8, 2026. A detailed inspection of the shipment uncovered parts for JoJeff pump-action rifles. Investigators tracked the shipment to a suspect arrested on July 31, 2026, at the Migfo Bonded Terminal. While two suspects are in custody, authorities are still searching for a primary individual involved in the operation.
In a separate enforcement action, officers discovered 40-foot containers loaded with cannabis-infused cookies and gummies mixed with standard household imports like generators and vehicle parts. The seized narcotics, including Delta-8 products, carry a market value exceeding ₦373 million.
