Nicki Minaj Accuses Jay-Z Of Owing $200 Million

Superstar rapper Nicki Minaj has publicly accused billionaire music mogul Jay-Z of owing her between $100 million and $200 million, reigniting tensions over what she claims are unpaid dues from the Tidal music streaming platform’s equity sale.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, the ‘Anaconda’ rapper didn’t hold back, tagging the Roc Nation boss directly.

“We’ve calculated about 100-200MM so far.
#JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It’s only collecting more interest.
You still in my Top 5 tho. Let’s get it nigga.”. sophie raiin nude

Minaj has, in recent months, voiced frustration over what she describes as unfair treatment during the sale of Tidal in 2021—a platform where she, along with several other top artists, was allegedly promised equity.

While specific details of her financial claims have not been made public, Minaj appears to suggest that Jay-Z failed to deliver on payouts tied to that equity arrangement when Tidal was sold to Square Inc., now part of Block Inc., in a deal reportedly worth $297 million.

As of press time, Jay-Z has not responded to the allegation.

Minaj, however, tempered her callout with a nod of respect, writing that the rap icon remains in her “Top 5,” despite the brewing tension.
