The event is hosted at MTN Plaza on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, and will remain open until August 17, 2026. Attendees can view interactive displays that track the shift from basic voice calls and SMS to the current era of smartphones and widespread digital services.
Visitors like content creator Kunle Rasheed noted the powerful sense of nostalgia present at the venue, highlighting how mobile phones evolved from luxury status symbols into essential daily tools. Visual artist Obinna Chieze remarked on the broader societal changes, specifically the integration of mobile banking and social media into everyday routines.
