A mass shooting at an Ohio manufacturing warehouse has left one person dead and five others injured.
New Albany Police responded to reports of an active shooter at KDC/One, located on the 8800 block of Smith Mill Road North, just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Authorities confirmed that one person was killed, and five others were taken to local hospitals. Police described the incident as a “targeted type of attack.”
The suspect has been identified but remains at large, though authorities confirmed that the individual is no longer in the immediate area.

In an update shared by the New Albany Police Department at 1:26 a.m., authorities confirmed they had completed the evacuation of employees from the KDC/One building.
At least 20 individuals were safely moved from one part of the facility to another.
Residents in the area have been advised to avoid the scene as law enforcement continues their search for the suspect. An investigation is underway.
Police are asking anyone with information to assist with the investigation by calling NAPD at 614-855-1234.
KDC/One manufactures cosmetics for LBrands stores, as noted by the New Albany Chamber of Commerce website. The facility is one of 24 manufacturers located in the New Albany Beauty Park and has produced over 1.5 billion units across more than 3,000 different products since opening in 2012.
This shooting incident follows closely behind another fatal shooting in Hamilton, located 118 miles away from New Albany.
The Hamilton Police Department responded to reports of shots fired on Clovernook Drive at around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. The incident reportedly stemmed from an altercation between two individuals, which resulted in one person being killed.
