Lagos State University Aerospace Engineering Student Graduates with 4.97 CGPA

Adebanjo Oluolamide has emerged as the best graduating student at Lagos State University for the 2025/2026 session, finishing with an impressive 4.97 CGPA in Aerospace Engineering.

Adebanjo Oluolamide secured a 4.97 CGPA at Lagos State University, marking the highest achievement among the 8,653 students in the 2025/2026 academic session. His success in the Aerospace Engineering program earned him the status of overall best graduating student with First Class Honours.

Oluolamide credited his accomplishment to divine grace and consistent dedication. He shared the news on social media, emphasizing the long hours of study and research required to reach this milestone. Beyond his classroom performance, he was named Scholar of the Year for the second time at the AESA-LASU event.

His academic commitment extended to professional contributions, as two of his research papers were selected for the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ NAICE 2026 conference. He previously sought funding to cover the costs associated with attending this industry event. Oluolamide is set to be honored during the combined 29th and 30th convocation ceremonies held at the university between August 14 and 23.
