His relatives confirmed that he passed away on Friday evening following a heart attack, describing him as a vibrant individual with immense creativity who remained lively until his final moments.
Throughout a career that earned him Bafta and Emmy nominations, Hardy was recognized for his documentary work, specifically the 2024 film Children of the Wicker Man. He co-created this project with his brother, Dominic, to explore the enduring impact of their father’s original production. Recently, he finalized Wrath of the Gods, which serves as the final installment in The Wicker Man trilogy and is scheduled for release this month.
