Glenn Irwin hospitalized following Snetterton racing accident

British Superbike rider Glenn Irwin has been hospitalized with pelvic pain after a multi-rider crash at the Snetterton circuit.

Glenn Irwin is unable to continue racing after being involved in a collision during the first British Superbike race at Snetterton on Saturday. The Nitrous Competitions Ducati rider was moved to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital complaining of pelvic pain, following a pile-up involving four riders at turn two during the initial lap. He is currently undergoing further medical evaluation.

This incident is another setback at the Snetterton circuit for Irwin, whose 2025 championship aspirations were also cut short by a crash at the same location. Following the red flag incident, the race was restarted for a 14-lap sprint. Bradley Ray secured his seventh straight win after the event was red-flagged once more on the final lap. Scott Redding of Hager PBM took second place, finishing 0.272 seconds behind, while championship leader Kyle Ryder finished in third place, three seconds further behind.
