Recent reports from Italy indicate that the Cottagers have already alerted AC Milan of their intention to exercise the purchase option, with the total package potentially rising to €28 million when performance-related bonuses are included.

Since joining Marco Silva’s squad, the 26-year-old has revitalized his career, overcoming a difficult period in Serie A to become a vital component of Fulham’s attacking frontline.
