Fulham Prepared to Finalize Permanent Transfer for Samuel Chukwueze
Fulham FC is moving to secure Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze on a permanent basis following a highly productive loan spell from AC Milan.
The Super Eagles star, who transitioned to the Premier League last summer, is the subject of a potential €24 million “redemption” clause that the London club is now eager to trigger.
Recent reports from Italy indicate that the Cottagers have already alerted AC Milan of their intention to exercise the purchase option, with the total package potentially rising to €28 million when performance-related bonuses are included.
Since joining Marco Silva’s squad, the 26-year-old has revitalized his career, overcoming a difficult period in Serie A to become a vital component of Fulham’s attacking frontline. Chukwueze has recorded three goals and four assists in 17 league appearances, with his standout performance being a two-goal display against Manchester City in December.
His seamless integration into the team has been bolstered by the presence of fellow Nigerian internationals Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, creating a supportive environment that has reflected positively in his on-field contributions.
For AC Milan, the permanent sale represents a significant financial boost and a successful recovery of their initial investment from Villarreal.
The winger has reportedly given his consent to the move, expressing a desire to remain at Craven Cottage long-term. With the formalization of the deal expected in the coming weeks, Chukwueze is set to become a cornerstone of Fulham’s offensive project as they plan for the 2026/27 season.
