Liberian filmmaker Frank Artus has publicly advised social media commentator VeryDarkMan to stop meddling in the internal issues of the Okoye family. This caution came on Sunday following VeryDarkMan’s video series supporting Jude Okoye during his current financial disagreement with his brother, Peter Okoye.
The dispute originated when Peter accused his brother Paul and their manager, Jude, of mishandling royalties and diverting funds into private accounts held by Jude and his spouse. This claim gained traction when another brother, Henry Okoye, also alleged that Jude misappropriated his share of the business profits. Despite these allegations, VeryDarkMan has utilized his platform to challenge Peter’s narrative, labeling the accusations as untrue.
Addressing the situation, Artus acknowledged VeryDarkMan’s contributions to Nigerian activism but insisted he should disengage from this specific family matter. He urged him to preserve his reputation by stepping back from the conflict. Additionally, Artus expressed support for Peter, noting that the public will ultimately determine the truth behind these claims.
