First-Class Ticket, Executive Hotel Rooms, $10,000 Honorarium – Cleric Femi Lazarus Shares Purported Invoice a Gospel Artiste Sent to Church for Services

Nigerian clergyman Femi Lazarus has once again criticized Nigerian gospel artistes for charging exorbitant fees to churches that invite them to minister at events.

While preaching at his church recently, Lazarus, who has previously spoken out against high fees demanded by gospel singers, shared a photo of an alleged invoice sent by a gospel artiste to a church.

According to the invoice, the artiste requested, among other things, a first-class flight ticket, executive suite hotel accommodations, and an honorarium of $10,000.

Additionally, the invoice specified that the artiste would be accompanied by at least 40 people, with the church responsible for covering their flight tickets, meals, and accommodation. It also stated that 50% of the honorarium must be paid upfront for the artiste to confirm the event in their schedule, with the remaining balance due two days before the programme.
