Edo Deputy Governor Predicts APC Dominance in Local Government Elections

Edo Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa maintains that the APC will achieve a decisive victory in the state’s local government elections scheduled for July 11.

Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, has shared his belief that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is positioned to win the upcoming local government elections throughout the state. During a campaign launch in Ovia South West, Idahosa highlighted the party’s recent focus on strengthening its presence at the grassroots level.

Scheduled for July 11 by the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission, the elections have already seen the APC initiate a series of rallies. Idahosa stated that the campaign reached several wards, including Udo, Iguobazuwa East, and Iguobazuwa West, where the party received a warm welcome from local supporters. The deputy governor noted that the strong attendance levels at these events are indicative of a growing public trust in the APC’s agenda.

During the rallies, the party formally introduced its chairmanship candidate, Anthony Osarobo, alongside his running mate, Isaac Bakare. Idahosa characterized Osarobo’s candidacy as a fresh start for the region and encouraged the electorate to cast their ballots for him. Osarobo echoed these sentiments, noting that the positive feedback from residents confirms their faith in the party’s vision for the state.
