Dr. Hamidu Ahmed Kara, the Head of the Taraba State Civil Service, has officially called for all casual employees in the state to participate in the active recruitment drive managed by the Civil Service Commission. This push follows Governor Agbu Kefas’s authorization to hire 1,800 new personnel to bolster the local public sector.
During a Friday meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Waste Management and Resource Innovation, led by Commissioner Bernard Shonze, Dr. Kara highlighted the importance of this opportunity. He urged the ministry to assist its eligible casual staff in navigating the application procedure.
Dr. Kara emphasized that all hiring decisions will adhere strictly to standard protocols. He explicitly noted that candidates must complete the formal submission process to be considered for any roles. Additionally, he promised to review the administrative concerns raised by Commissioner Shonze during their discussion to ensure proper support for the ministry.
Commissioner Shonze previously stated that the visit aimed to address operational difficulties within his department. He lauded Dr. Kara for his accessibility and his active role in advancing civil service reforms across the state.
