Dele Momodu Thanks Gov. Adeleke as Davido Reunites With Daughter Imade, Says “Love Conquers”
Nigerian singer Davido has reunited with his first daughter, Imade Adeleke, in what he described as the “best day of my life.” The artist shared heartfelt photos of their time together via his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, May 28.
The reunion comes after a period of estrangement that drew public concern, including a viral note allegedly written by Imade last year expressing sadness over her father’s absence.

Following the emotional reunion, media personality Dele Momodu uncle to Imade’s mother, Sophia Momodu—took to social media to express gratitude to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is Davido’s uncle.
“Thank you my twin brother… Love conquers,” Momodu wrote, alongside photos of Imade and Governor Adeleke, suggesting the governor played a role in facilitating the reconciliation.

The reunion marks a hopeful step forward for the Adeleke family, one year after tensions surrounding custody and co-parenting became a subject of public discourse.
