Oladapo Oyebanjo, the Nigerian musical artist widely known as D’banj, has achieved a new milestone by becoming the inaugural Nigerian entertainer to preside over the closing bell ceremony at the London Stock Exchange. The singer announced this achievement on his verified X account this past Friday.
This appearance was held to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Royal African Society based in London. D’banj expressed that the event was a monumental occasion. During the ceremony, he stood alongside notable figures including the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Terrace Michael Drew, and the second patron of the Royal African Society, Prof. Benedict Oramah.
