Chelsea Defeats PSG 3 – 0 To Clinch FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Title

Premier League side Chelsea have claimed the inaugural title of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup, securing a dominant 3-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday night.

Despite being underdogs, the Blues seized control of the match within just 43 minutes.

England midfielder Cole Palmer stole the spotlight, netting twice in the opening 27 minutes to give Chelsea a strong early lead.

Adding further to the scoreline, new Chelsea signing Joao Pedro—who joined mid-tournament from Brighton—netted the third goal in the 42nd minute, sealing a resounding win for the Blues.

In the second half, Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez showcased his class with two superb saves to deny Paris Saint-Germain any chance of a comeback.

PSG’s night went from bad to worse when Joao Neves was sent off late in the second half for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair.
