Indomitable Lionesses goalkeeper Michaely Bihina has shared her thoughts following her team’s triumph against the Super Falcons of Nigeria. Under the guidance of coach Valentine Nguélé, Cameroon secured a spot in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals with a narrow 1-0 win against the 10-time title holders. This result also confirms Cameroon’s qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
Myriam Nyadjou netted the only goal of the match via a 19th-minute free-kick. Although the Super Falcons maintained control and applied consistent pressure, they were unable to overcome the defensive efforts of Bihina.
