At least seven villages near Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, have been destroyed by bandits since Saturday. This information was shared by security analyst Bakatsine on X on Sunday. The affected villages include Bargaja, Makera, Kahuta, Hayin Mai Cibi, Yar Geba, Hayin Yakubu, and Unguwar Mata. He wrote: “Since Saturday, bandits have burnt seven villages near Gusau, Zamfara: Bargaja, Makera, Kahuta, Hayin Mai Cibi, Yar Geba, Hayin Yakubu and Unguwar Mata.”

He also reported new attacks on Sunday evening near Mada village, located in Gusau Local Government Area.
