Ayo Oritsejafor claims Nigerian citizens prioritize survival over upcoming elections

Ayo Oritsejafor claims that everyday Nigerians are focused on surviving economic hardship rather than the upcoming elections, citing a massive divide between citizens and politicians.

Former Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria president Ayo Oritsejafor argues that the nation is currently split into two disparate realities. During an appearance on Arise News, he noted that politicians inhabit a sphere far removed from the daily struggles of the common person.

Oritsejafor emphasized that while leadership is engaged in political maneuvering, most citizens are occupied with immediate concerns such as hunger and financial instability.

He suggested that the behaviors and expenditures of public officials do not align with the hardships currently experienced by the populace.

According to the pastor, many individuals are less concerned with the electoral process and more preoccupied with navigating debt and the escalating cost of living. Reports indicate that these sentiments reflect a widespread public concern regarding both economic conditions and the perceived indifference of the political class.
