The Professional Footballers’ Association has revealed the six rising stars contending for the 2025 Young Player of the Year award, showcasing a new wave of exceptional talent lighting up the Premier League and beyond.
Among the standout nominees is Arsenal’s teenage sensation Ethan Nwaneri, whose roots trace back to an Igbo Nigerian father and an English-French mother. He is joined by fellow Gunner Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen—on loan from Real Madrid—and Aston Villa’s dynamic forward, Morgan Rogers.
Each finalist earned their place through eye-catching performances, consistency, and a fearless embrace of top-flight football, proving they are not just the future—but very much the now.
The winner will be crowned at the PFA Awards 2025 ceremony, set to honour football’s brightest young talents in the coming weeks.
