Ola Aina expressed his delight at signing a contract extension with Premier League club Nottingham Forest.
The Tricky Trees announced on Monday that the Nigeria international has agreed to a three-year deal, keeping him at the City Ground until 2028.
Aina scored twice and provided one assist to help Nuno Espírito Santo’s side finish seventh last season.
The 28-year-old was mainly deployed as a right-back for most of the campaign.
He also won one Player of the Month award and claimed the Goal of the Month prize once.
“I’m over the moon, I can’t wait to continue this journey with the Club. It’s always felt like a home ever since I joined and I’m happy to be here. Now my focus is on preparing for the new season well and getting back to hard work,” he told the club’s official website.
Ola Aina moved to Nottingham Forest on a free transfer two years ago.
Since then, he has featured in 59 games across all competitions for the Reds.
