Arewa Youths praise President Tinubu for launching Army’s 10 Division in Taraba

Members of the Arewa Youth Assembly held a rally in Jalingo to express gratitude to President Tinubu for the establishment of the Nigerian Army’s 10 Division in Taraba State.

Members of the Arewa Youth Assembly gathered in Jalingo, Taraba State, on Wednesday to demonstrate their support for President Bola Tinubu following his decision to set up the 10 Division of the Nigerian Army within the state.

Aliyu Mohammad Sani, representing the group, told reporters that this move is a vital strategic step to improve security across Taraba and the broader North-East. He emphasized that the new division serves as a necessary shield for local communities that have long sought a military presence familiar with the region’s unique challenges. Sani also lauded the federal administration for raising military pay, noting that it serves as a significant morale boost for soldiers deployed to dangerous areas.

Furthermore, Sani recognized the contributions of the Chief of Defence Staff and the Chief of Army Staff in fortifying national security. The arrival of this division has reportedly restored local confidence in government security efforts.

Comrade Umar Sani Bello of the Taraba People’s Movement added that the rally was held to express local gratitude. He stated that the local population is now eager to work alongside the Nigerian Army and other security forces to ensure lasting stability in the region.
